Front-end Game Developer

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of web development (HTML5, CSS, JS / TS);
  • Experience with Phaser or Pixi;
  • Experience with HTML5 Canvas;
  • Experience with Chrome Dev Tools;
  • Experience with GIT;
  • Experience with Webpack or Gulp or Grunt;
  • Interest in game development.

Would be a plus:

  • Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns;
  • Experience with ES6, JS preprocessors;
  • Experience with Typescript;
  • Experience with Jira/Bitbucket;
  • Experience with Docker, Jenkins/Travis.

2D Animator
Summary of Role

  • Specialist with 3+ years of experience in 2D Animation, 2D rigs with mesh deformation, and a good sense of timing and animation styles.
  • Must be versatile with Spine, inside and out, as well as After Effects for special animations and sequences, and Photoshop for image manipulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rig and animate assets from designers in the form of PNG or PSD files
  • Produce appealing animations, with a good sense of timing and motion
  • Optimize the assets, rigs, and meshes to produce light animation asset files that would be easy on our game engines
  • Create demo animations in AfterEffects of expected looks in game, for promotional needs and marketing videos. Occasionally some video editing will be required
  • Come up with various styles and ideas and strive to bring something new with every new game
  • Abide to development restrictions in file formats, sizes, timing and exporting requirements
  • Cooperate with the design team and the development team to make sure that all bases are covered and all needs are met between the different departments

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation
  • Strong knowledge of Spine, inside and out, including rigging, meshes, and special effects
  • Strong feel for motion and timing, with understanding of different animation styles
  • Knowledge of accompanying packages – for Compositing (i.e. AfterEffects), 2D manipulations (i.e. Photoshop), and Video Editing (i.e. Premiere)
  • Easy-going with great communication skills and team-player
  • Intermediate English (B1/B2)

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge in 3D (model, rig, animate, and render)
  • Experience with classical 2D animation (as opposed to cut-out style)
  • Experience with working on slot games and/or other type of games
  • Leadership experience of animation projects
